Happy Earth Day!
We met in the Gym as
usual. Samuel was our leader and put the children through a “gruelling” game of
Follow-the-Leader! He did a great job with the calendar routine as well! We can’t
believe we only have one week of April to fill in before heading into another
month!
Our Math task was to
finish up all incomplete work today and to get it “filed” into our work
binders.
In Language Arts, The
SK’s had Spelling Dictation while the JK’s started an Earth Day activity. Afterwards
we did a class reading activity called Every
Day is Earth Day.
Our afternoon was
filled with team work with our House Teams as we each cleaned up one of three
designated parks in Orangeville. I only have pictures of the Kappa House as that's the one I am on! But it sounds like all teams did a great job!
A bit of playing time after the job was done!
Two smiling beauties!
