It was great to see the sun this afternoon. The little solar scarecrow girl on our window ledge was doing an excited happy dance!!

Brooke did a great job with calendar time today! We had weekend news but got a little "carried away" with stories about things happening in our lives that we missed Math! Oops!~~ tomorrow we have our first lesson on Subtraction!

In Language Arts, the SK's were presented with their Spelling list for the week and had a word search and a word shape activity to do, based on their words. The JK's did a phonics skill-sheet based on starting consonant sounds. Well done, everyone!

After the long lunch recess the children had free choice activities.  Later, we went to the gym, did some stretching and then practiced our endurance at running laps! We are all seeing improvements in our ability to run longer (including me! )

The day concluded with French. The students are continuing to learn vocabulary about their houses.
