St. Patrick's Spirit Day!

Everyone looked awesome in their green today! Kindergarten students had calendar with Reed and we filled in all of the numbers up to March 20. It really gave them a better idea of how many days we are off for the break!

I have included a lot of pictures from the past few day (the internet seems to be acting better today!)

Making "quilts" on PJ Day!

Finding magazine pictures of "things in my room" at night!

Shamrock addition

We created animals that jump with plasticine~ making sure they had strong back legs and smaller front legs

A "GREEN" assembly this morning!

Working hard on his St' Patrick's Day activity book!

Have a safe and healthy March Break!
See you March 21st!

CURRENT UNIT OF INQUIRY: More Than A Feeling!

Central Idea: We can express our feelings/emotions in many different ways.

Today the children were introduced to a program called Kelso's Choices. It is an excellent program about dealing with big and small problems. There is lots of info on the internet and I wish I had learned about it years ago! We watched some scenarios on the web and how Kelso helped the children solve their small problems.
