Happy Tuesday!

Trying to get a little bit "back to normal" this week even though we will be celebrating 100's day and going skating! We started the day with sharing for 5 children and a speedy version of weekend news! We reviewed time to the hour and half hour and each grade completed a "time test"!

We learned the sound of "ng" today .. a very tricky sound! (SOUND PAIL tomorrow!) We learned more penguin facts and did some penguin artwork! We started painting our structure - finally! We used only purple today but will use a new colour each day this week.

Enjoy your evening!

CURRENT UNIT OF INQUIRY: More Than A Feeling!

Central Idea: We can express our feelings/emotions in many different ways.

Today the children were introduced to a program called Kelso's Choices. It is an excellent program about dealing with big and small problems. There is lots of info on the internet and I wish I had learned about it years ago! We watched some scenarios on the web and how Kelso helped the children solve their small problems.
