Monday!

Our day began in the Gym with a special guest and a presentation. Logan (of Logan’s Hope) was present with his dad and received a cheque for $4000 from the Maples families and friends. They appeared to be very appreciative.

In the classroom, Ethan was the leader and did a good job with the calendar. We had time for a Math lesson on “mass” (measurement of weight) using a balance scale. 

Following snack and the arrival of St. Jude’s students we went to the Gym for the Spelling Bee. Thank you for helping your child with the Spelling lists for their grade. It was a great learning experience! The 3 JK's and 3 SK's all did their best and were able to overcome their nervousness and insecurities about the whole event. I am so proud of them! 

We returned in time for French class with Mdme. V.

It was an indoor lunch recess, followed by Sharing. The JK’s and SK’s had their first lesson on ABC Order (alphabetical order).
