Track and Field Wednesday!

Our first-ever participation in the school Track and Field meet was a huge success! The weather was perfect. The children had a wonderful time and their participation was excellent. Not one single Pre-K, JK or SK said “no” to participation in each of their 5 events!  Their sportsmanship was beautiful to see as they cheered each other on and as they high-fived each other before and after events. They loved that many older students stopped to watch them and cheer for them as well! Thank you to the rest of the school for welcoming us into this school-wide activity! I hope you enjoy the pictures.

 The Long Jump Event!

60 m. sprint! ~ Wishing each other luck and they're off!!

Way to run girls!

                                         Good luck Sarah!

                                        Good luck, Ethan!

When will it be our turn to throw the ball?

Awesome throwing! The practice was worth it after all!

 Painting our "Georgia O'Keeffe" pictures!

We followed our morning routines in the afternoon, with calendar, Show and Share, Art, Concert practice (sort of – they were too tired to be 100% cooperative J )  and Reading.

Have a great evening!
