Wednesday!

All students wearing school hoodies led us in O ' Canada today! Back in the classroom, Karmin's was our leader and took us through all of the calendar questions. She chose all of the "Chicken Soup with Rice" verses for us to read today! 

In Language Arts we did Sound Pail for the sound of "th" and then we learned to read a poem called "Every Day is Earth Day"

We began a new Math unit today ... Place Value .. A very tricky unit until it "clicks!" 

Ms. Armitage read "The Lorax" and led a brief discussion about what happened when all the trees were cut down. We watched a video clip of planet Earth from a satellite!

We had Gym time and have started to prepare for the Track and Field Meet which we will participate in this year later in May.

At free time Ms. A. assisted the children in making their "planets" using a salad spinner :)
