Friday just flew by!!!!

Where does a day go? ?

Opening exercises, House Point Collection

Calendar, Casual Day colour song (always a fun thing)

Language Arts : JK and SK watched a DVD called "Talking Word Family" where they saw sticky vowels joining other letters together to make words! They wanted to watch it again!

Spelling Dictation and Journal writing ... "On the March Break I ......."

Science: We talked about water and wondered where it goes when all the snow melts.

Gym: We practiced our endurance running.

March Birthday circle, free time clean up and dismissal

CURRENT UNIT OF INQUIRY: More Than A Feeling!

Central Idea: We can express our feelings/emotions in many different ways.

Today the children were introduced to a program called Kelso's Choices. It is an excellent program about dealing with big and small problems. There is lots of info on the internet and I wish I had learned about it years ago! We watched some scenarios on the web and how Kelso helped the children solve their small problems.
