ANOTHER BEAUTIFUL DAY! WELCOME FALL!

We had another really busy day. Please see the side bars for some of the details of our day. We also read a story called Mr. Peabody's Apples. (Excellent lesson)

We had Gym and played a new game called "Not in my Backyard!"

We chose new books in the Library.

We have a 2nd Year ECE student from Humber College practicing in our classroom every Wednesday and Thursday until the end of November. We are calling her Ms. L. as her last name is a bit tricky to say!! Please help her to feel welcome!

Have a great evening everyone!

CURRENT UNIT OF INQUIRY: More Than A Feeling!

Central Idea: We can express our feelings/emotions in many different ways.

Today the children were introduced to a program called Kelso's Choices. It is an excellent program about dealing with big and small problems. There is lots of info on the internet and I wish I had learned about it years ago! We watched some scenarios on the web and how Kelso helped the children solve their small problems.
