Opening Exercises, Attendance, Announcements
CALENDAR - Katie is the leader ... super job Katie!
MATH - Reviewed penny, introduce the nickel and counted by 5's
-Worked with pennies and nickels on a "work mat" to show me 3c, 4c, 5c (2 ways)
SNACK, RECESS - Thanks for the Easter cookies, Madyson!
STORY The Worm (Very cute ...Thanks for sharing this book, Georgia!)
FRENCH
ENGLISH - New sound - "oy / oi"
I told a story about Katie, as a sailor, sighting a ship that was lost and shouting
                                   "Ahoy, ship ahoy!"
LUNCH
SCIENCE -We talked about all the things we say "good-bye" to when winter leaves us and                       then talked about all the things we can say "hello" to when spring arrives.
We started a booklet called Good-bye Winter
RECESS -Everyone got very wet today!  The puddles are getting deeper and bigger and
staying out of them seems virtually impossible for most of the children, big and small.
SHARING - Sarah and Ethan
FREE CHOICE ACTIVITY TIME - Several children told stories using the felt boards and the              many shapes. Matthew and Seth spend hours drawing mazes that none of us can                conquer! Many of the girls played with toys brought from home.
    Have a great evening!

Sorry again about all of the wet things. The puddles are magnetic! Extra socks in the backpack would be a great idea right now!
