A GREAT Day!

Great job with calendar!
In Language Arts we had Sound Pail ( a wonderful selection of "p" things!
We decorated the room for Hallowe'en and had a Popcorn Party to celebrate!

Today's story was called

The Fierce Yellow Pumpkin

The children did 2 Hallowe'en craft activities today ... a Hallowe'en sticker banner and a Jack 'o Lantern lantern!

These two guys love to "play school" during free choice time!

The Play dough comes out every day ~ it is a favourite choice!

Have a lovely evening!

CURRENT UNIT OF INQUIRY: More Than A Feeling!

Central Idea: We can express our feelings/emotions in many different ways.

Today the children were introduced to a program called Kelso's Choices. It is an excellent program about dealing with big and small problems. There is lots of info on the internet and I wish I had learned about it years ago! We watched some scenarios on the web and how Kelso helped the children solve their small problems.
