Tuesday was Terrific!

Opening exercises as usual ~ all Kinders are now getting to the Gym in time for O’Canada with their indoor shoes on and House Points in hand!  J

Jonathan was today’s leader! Great job with calendar and all other leader tasks!

At MATH time, I read the Dr. Seuss story Ten Apples Up On Top. The SK’s completed a task based on this story, using the number of apples that matched the number of letters in their names. 

JK’s cut out their apples (coloured yesterday) and were meant to glue them onto a basket in order of size. This proved to be a bit much for most of them as the cutting and gluing was all they could manage! We’ll do some more ordering by size later!!

At LANGUAGE time, we printed the letter “o.”

In Gym we played a game called The Farmer’s Apples. A few “farmers” had to guard their apples(beanbags) from the apple thieves who stole them and threw them across the gym over and over again!

The day ended with FRENCH with Mme. Villeneuve!
