Hello Monday!!

Assembly first thing this morning to recognize perfect attendance for May, applaud some student achievements outside of school, to identify a student in each class who showed responsibility and/or courage in the month of May and to learn that in the month of June we will be working on perseverance!

CURRENT UNIT OF INQUIRY: More Than A Feeling!

Central Idea: We can express our feelings/emotions in many different ways.

Today the children were introduced to a program called Kelso's Choices. It is an excellent program about dealing with big and small problems. There is lots of info on the internet and I wish I had learned about it years ago! We watched some scenarios on the web and how Kelso helped the children solve their small problems.
